Meet Kayla Dupree
One day after watching a movie about cancer and how it affects families, Kayla told her mother that they needed to do something to help those families. After several discussions about what she wanted to do, Kayla's Pink Ribbon Society was born. That was 2013 and Kayla was 11 years old.
Kayla is a sweet and caring young girl with a BIG heart. She believes that with the aspirations to become a fashion model. She enjoys singing with the Collide Youth worship team, and she is a Peer Leader and a member of the Multicutural Club at her school. Kayla is an avid reader and carries book with her everywhere she goes and she enjoys making band bracelets. Kayla aspires to be a fashion model.
Who?
Every member of a family is dramatically affected by a cancer diagnosis. Applicants can be any age, gender or race. We want to give love and support to not only the patient but those closest to them. This is critically important because every one will need to be strong on this journey, that's why we strive to make our events a family affair.
What?

Kayla has assembled a stellar Power Team of professionals that will ensure you and awesome experience. We have hairstylists, makeup Artist, Photographers, Personal Clothing Stylists, Chefs, and private sponsors.
Once you make your decision, our staff will get busy to ensure that it is memorable!
Why?
We care about you! Many families receive an abundance of support at the beginning of a cancer diagnosis however, their world grows quiet and time passes. We have been told that patients and their families begin to feel lonely and life is never the same and that is unacceptable! It is our goal to fill you up with love through fun, laughter, food and good times
How?
It's easy! You, the patient, or an immediate family member can apply to receive a Memorable Moment. Once you have read the rules and regulations, if you qualify, just fill out the Family Registration Form to register your family and we will contact you if your family if selected. Then someone from our staff will contact you to coordinate your event.

A Cancer diagnosis is scary. Hair loss because of Cancer is devasting.
The road to live can be long, difficult journey,
Cancer treatment is so very hard in so many ways, and the added burden of hair loss just compounds an incredibly spirit-crushing situation. Our free wig program was created to do three things: provide love and support, help patients keep their self-esteem, and take away the financial burden of purchasing a high quality human hair wig.
Who can apply? We happily accept anyone (men, women, and children) who has received a cancer diagnosis within the last two years and lost their hair due to the treatments. Additionally, we accept people with certain alopecia diagnosis.

How to apply? Complete our online application and submit your supporting documents. Or email info@dupreegroup.org and someone will contact you.

The Process. Once your application is received, our staff will review it and contact you within 5-7 days. Your approval is based on verification of your information and our inventory. After you are approved, you will have an in-person or zoom consultation with a licensed Master Cosmetologist to discuss your new wig (style, length, color, etc). Once your wig is ready, you will have a follow-up appointment for a fitting or if you aren't local, your wig will be mailed to you.

How can you help? The average cost of a 100% human hair wig is $500. The price can increase up to $1500 depending on length, cap type (closure, frontal, HD lace, or full lace), color etc. Please consider making a donation in order to assist us in our efforts to serve and support cancer patients.
